We try to deceive the community detection algorithms by rewiring the edges of a given network minimally, i.e., hide the identity of a group of nodes. We address this problem of Community Deception as Hide and Seek Community (HSC). Such a mechanism plays an essential role in the domain of privacy and security, for instance, it could prevent the exposure of social network users to various surveillance entities.
